Since Miñoso was 13, she struggled with how to express herself as an artist, experimenting with different mediums, subjects, and styles between 2013 and 2019. Her artistic identity felt fluid and uncertain. 

It wasn’t until the pandemic in early 2020 that she chose to reset and return to the basics, starting with graphite. She took the time to re-explore various mediums at her own pace.
