MiΓ±oso paints sun-dappled wildflowers that are shifting and self-determined. Co thinks of her mother who works in the garden, weeding and watering it as she does to her home, cultivating and harvesting it. The shaping of a home, a situation, a relationship, or the self can be painful but necessary work

Their paintings complement each other to communicate that, within or beyond the walls of a home, in a vegetable garden or a field, the woman must be free to exist fully as herself.
